Years ago, my granddaughters Luna and Natalia asked me to give them a rag doll. I thought to myself, why not do them instead of going to a store and buying them? That way they had something unique and personal to them.I made two rag dolls and then relatives and friends asked me for custom dolls as gifts, and before I knew it I had made 10 dolls. I enjoyed designing the dolls so much that I accidentally became a business. Till this day, I have been surrounded by fabrics, threads, needles and lace to design. I fell in love with this craft the moment I saw my granddaughters look into the dolls embroidered eyes. Going through every little detail, adornment and which color combination is appropriate according to the clients taste. Each doll takes me 4 days to complete.
